Infromation regarding-original aadhar card required to passport office after revision, e-aadhar is not acceptable.

A per uidai, original aadhar card will be issued once and in case of revision only e-aadhar card will be available.
during my visit to passport office for my spouse passport they require original aadhar card after revision, e-aadhar is not acceptable. there is clear conflict between the rules set up by central government depatment.
